Experience is valuable, and perspective is powerful.

Marketing has changed dramatically over the last 30 years. We’ve moved from mass media to hyper-targeted digital, from product-first messaging to customer-led brands, from long timelines to real-time optimization. The tools keep shifting—direct mail, print, broadcast, affiliate, events, banner ads, SEO, SEM, social, influencer waves, automation, and now AI. And the truth is, many of them still hold value when used strategically. What has changed isn’t just the channels - it’s the pace, the pressure, and the tendency to chase what’s new instead of what works.

At CLINTONSCOTT, we don’t just understand today’s marketing landscape, we’ve lived through the major evolutions of it. That perspective matters. Because while channels change, trends cycle, and tools come and go, the fundamentals of clear strategy, thoughtful execution, and business alignment haven’t changed. Our drive is to give businesses real, strategic marketing leadership without the layers, fluff, or guesswork.

We bring a rare balance of historical perspective and modern marketing relevance - so we can see what’s worth keeping, what’s worth letting go, and what’s truly worth investing in. We combine our commitment to results and unique perspective to offer impactful marketing strategies that focus on balance between best practices versus next practices.

Our Founder & Chief Strategy Officer

Clint Allen is the founder and strategic lead behind CLINTONSCOTT, a consultancy built on the belief that marketing should serve the business, not just fill a calendar.

Over the course of three decades, Clint has held senior roles in both agency and corporate environments, working with national brands like American Express, Bank of America, Purina, AT&T/YP, Chevrolet, Pizza Hut, Hilton, Valpak, and American Cancer Society, alongside dozens of high-growth and mid-market companies across industries. He’s built and led teams, launched brands, repositioned businesses, and developed strategies that deliver meaningful results.

His approach is rooted in clarity, accountability, and honesty. He knows how to cut through the noise, connect the dots, and bring structure to even the most complex marketing challenges. Whether he's advising a founder, guiding a team, or helping a brand rethink its direction, Clint brings a rare mix of perspective, calm, and candor that clients quickly come to rely on.

Clint holds a BSBA in Marketing from the University of the Incarnate Word and is based in Texas. When he’s not working with clients, you’ll find him at the coast, on the course, sketching out a woodworking project, or exploring how design, data, and strategy intersect. His most cherished time is spent with his family, friends, and his beloved dog - who, truth be told, seems to be the most patient listener when it comes to his thoughts on where marketing is heading.
